Rosa AbbottWritingCuratingAbout • Liquid

Founded in 2019 by Rosa Abbott, Roisin Agnew and Daniel Bermingham, Liquid is a curatorial project that explores expressions of intimacy in the private and public realms, in our digital and offline lives. Through live research, exhibitions, screenings, performance and discursive events, Liquid invites artists, activists, musicians, performers, filmmakers and writers to conduct practice-based inquiries into instances of intimacy as they manifest themselves in our everyday lives.

In March 2020, Liquid hosted its first event, to a full audience at Raven Row in London. Further events programmed throughout 2020 in venues including SET, Raven Row and Tate Britain are currently on hold due to COVID-19. Throughout the COVID lockdown period, Liquid has been publishing work by artists, writers and researchers via an online project, Warm Yourself By My Trash Fire.

In August 2020, Liquid resumed public programming with ‘Meet Me in the Marshes’, an evening of readings and performances in the Hackney Marshes.
